Wild Boar Fell and Bitkett Commons provide a great space to explore and to run outdoor events.

Like many other Commons, Wild Boar Fell and Birkett Commons are ‘open access’ under the Countryside and Rights of Way Act 2000.  However, if you are considering the running of an event, or working on the Common, this does not qualify for open access and you therefore need permission to do so.

The earlier notice you are able to provide the better to cover all details and the lower the risk that the event or works will not be permitted.
